5th Annual Dream Extreme}

The 5th Annual Dream Extreme will be launched this September 20, 2014, a Saturday in East Hampton, New York. It is the biggest kiteboarding charity event on the East Coast and it will be for two days, complete with activities from kiteboarding clinic, a dinner party, an auction and many more. Topnotch and world champions will be there to showcase and share their skills and talents to anyone who is adventurous and willing to try. But on condition that you are not into kitesurfing, other leisure like yoga, kayaking, massage and stand up paddle boarding are also available. The Dream Extreme is a party that gathers both expert and aspiring riders, as well as guests from industries such as fashion, entertainment, art, business and sports. For this year, the honored people who will turn up are fashion designer Nicole Miller, best-selling author Richard Doetsch, and philanthropists Bonnie Pfeifer Evans and Laura Nicklas. Host for the event will be New Yorks PIX-11 Reporter Kirstin Cole.

So far, more than $500,000 has been raised and collected by the Dream Extreme team in support to STEPS, a program of Edwin Gould Services for Children and Families. It is a non-profit organization since 1986 that aims to stop family violence. STEPS offers counseling, legal representation, educational and therapeutic sessions, among others, and the Dream Extreme event has been in partnership with them for the past four years. Linda Argila, the programs founder, had her own hard experiences and with her profession in philanthropy and love for kiteboarding, she was able to set up such a major movement.

If you have the luxury of time and money, then do not forget to go to this years Dream Extreme! It will surely be a fun affair. Learn to ride or hone your skills from global champions and professional coaches and if that is not to your interest, there will be games, live music (with DJs) and performances, breakfast and BBQ lunch in the Beach Bash that will keep you comfortable, relaxed and entertained.

There will be an early registration and kickoff party on September 19, 2014, Friday, and it will be a great chance to meet and mingle with everyone. Cocktails and dinner will even be served. Register now so that you can take part! Tickets range from $200 to $25,000. If you cannot come, you can still donate. Anyhow, the Dream Extreme will end with a dance party, an awards presentation and a closing ceremony so do not miss out on all the fun!
