Fingers have been one of the most effective and necessary part of human beings. Be it hunting in the ancient times or incessantly spreading advancements which have prompted us to work hard for our survival, to earn a square meal, fingers have always been of prime importance. The modern times have increased the strain our fingers bear and thus they are more prone to diseases that can decrease the efficiency with which our so dear fingers perform their action be it holding, gripping or anything else. Humans have evolved over the centuries and many body parts have transformed over this long span of time and thankfully each of our body part has evolved in one aspect according to our requirement. 1. Wearing safety things as protective gloves can provide the necessary escape from the germs that may affect and infect your fingers.
2. Carpal tunnel can be characterised by a syndrome that causes pain and burning in the middle nerve and such of the diseases cannot be treated easily and often needs surgical division of that part of the hand.
3. Moisturize frequently: Dry skin is prone to breaking and thus it is important to keep the skin hydrated. It is of utmost importance for people with diabetes as in that case a wound make take a lot of time to heal.
4. Stick to the side: In order to decrease the chances of decreasing calluses, try to use the side of your 10 fingers. Also people find the sides less painful while pricking than the centre of finger in case of a diabetic person.
5. Manicure: Hands bear a lot whole day. Our fingers are strained by the effort they do. To make our fingers feel better, dip them in a hot water bat, it must not be warm because in that case it would burn your fingers. Relax for sometime and enjoy the finger bath.

And with the advent of new and peculiar diseases it is better to avoid being infected with any disease which would decrease the efficiency with which we work now.
